CORRUPTION CHARGES
N.S.W. JUDGE WILL INQUIRE (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.20 a.m. MELBOURNE, To-day. The Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Bruce, has appointed Mr. Justice Scholes, district court judge of New South Wales, the Royal Commissioner to inquire into Mr. G. Lambert’s charges of corruption. Mr. Lambert asserted that he was offered money for his Sydney seat in Parliament, so that it would he a safe seat for Mr. E. G. Theodore.
