WITH LIGHTER HEART

McQUAY’S MOTHER LEAVES SYDNEY SON MUCH IMPROVED (United P.A. —By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. noon. SYDNEY, To-day. The former New Zealand soldier, George T. McQuay, who had been missing for 13 years, and was recently identified at the Callan Park mental hospital, left Sydney for Wellington yesterday with his mother by the Maunganui. Mrs. McQuay, before embarking by the Maunganui, expressed her gratitude to the New Zealand and Australian Governments, the Returned Soldiers’ Leagues, and hospital officials for their great help and kindness.. She was going back to New Zealand with a much lighter heart than when she arrived, because her soldier son, who had not been identified for 11 years, showed much improvement. Two hospital attendants are accompanying them.
