AT DIXIELAND
Rainbow lighting and garlands of flowers lent an enchanted air to the Dixieland Cabaret last Saturday evening, when a large number of folk journeyed to the popular rendezvous at Point Chevalier, where, patterned with the softest tinsel colourings, the dancers paid spirited tribute to the excellent music. A feature of the evening was a solo dance contributed by Mr. Monty Brewster, of Sydney, and lately of Canada, who gave a clever exhibition of the Eccentric Charleston. No pains had been spared by .the management to cater for the enjoyment of patrons, and the twilight dance with its woodland atmosphere and dreamy music was particularly intriguing.
