JEWISH WOMEN’S BENEVOLENT SOCIETY
Weekly sewing bees stre being run again this year by the Jewish Women’s Benevolent Society, which did such excellent work last year. The articles made oy the members are distributed where needed among people of every denomination The members’ meeting was held in the club rooms, Wyndham Street. Mrs. Alfred Nathan was elected patron, Mrs. David Nathan president, Mrs. Max Lichtenstein and Mrs. Charles Nathan joint treasurers, and Mrs. Yock and Mrs. G. Pezaro secretaries.
