LIFE MEMBER OF R.S.A.
PALMERSTON NORTH MAN HONOURED Press Association. PALMERSTON N., To-day. One of the best-known residents of Manawatu, Mr. P. A. McHardy, who did excellent patriotic service during the war. was honoured by the Returned Soldiers’ Association last evening by having conferred on him a badge of life membership. Mr. McHardy, who donated the site of the Palmerston North Anzac Club, is the second life member, the other one being Mr.. John Herbert Hankins, also a very old resident.
