RIVAL LABOUR PARTIES
CLASH COMING IN N.S.W. NEW ORGANISATION MOOTED (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.40 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. The formation of a new Labour Party in New South Wales is believed to be imminent. It will consist of former politicians and the expelled Labourites, and is likely to do official Labour consider able damage at the forthcoming Federal elections. Mr. J. Graves, president of the Australian Labour Party, officially warns the workers to beware the new organisation. He declares it to be led by a crew of disgruntled Labour politicians. An ex-Labour official, Mr. A. Bruntnell, is framing legislation to deal comprehensively with illegal shop and starting-price betting, which is so rampant and is allegedly ruining the attendance at certain race meetings T , the morals of young and old! Mr. Bruntnell, who is a former Salvationist, is receiving warm support from all sections.
