CRIMINAL SESSIONS
FIFTEEN CASES NORGROVE MURDER TRIAL A total of 15 criminal trials are set down for hearing at the second quarterly sittings of the Supreme Court which begin tomorrow morning before Mr. Justice MacGregor and Mr. Justice Blair. The most important case will be the trial of Allan George Norgrove, who is charged with the murder of his sister-in-law, Mrs. E. M. Norgrove, at New Lynn on March 17. Of the remainder, seven are sexual cases, a charge of the abduction of a girl under IS years of age, and several breaking and entering cases will aiso be heard. The following is the list with the charges: Allan George Norgrove, murder. New Lynn. Joseph O’Keefe, alias Hugh Sullivan, theft of horse, saddle and bridle, Auckland. Daniel Hebley and George Harrison, fals© pretences and uttering, Auckland. Charlie Lee, theft one charge, false pretences, six charges, Auckland. Arthur Alexander Lenne, indecent assault, Auckland. A youth, whose nam© is suppressed, indecent assault, Auckland. Thorne Mervyn May, carnal knowledge, Auckland. Bertram Augustine O’Connor, indecent assault, Auckland. William Brentnall, indecent e%possure, Auckland. Michael Edward Boyle, tldfcft, Auckland. James Tui Nicholson and Phillip Eric Charles Allen, assault and robbery, Auckland. James Henry McKeich, abduction of a girl under 18 years, Kawakawa. Arama Wataria, carnal knowledge, Maungatinroto. Jakov Skokandich, assault with intent to commit rape, and rape, Dargaville. William Henry Higgins, theft, 10 charges, Auckland.
