MURDERED HUSBAND
WOMAN SENT FOR TRIAL TRAGEDY AT PERTH (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) Reed. 9.5 a.m. DARWIN, Wed. Blanche Hill was committed for trial on a charge of murdering her husband. Evidence was given that Mrs. Hill and Solomon, who was charged with vagrancy, were intimate friends, and a letter revealing the woman’s infidelity and her desire to do away with her husband was read. A Darwin message of Monday read:— A second arrest has been made following the murder of Harry Hill, Jelamey Solomon being charged with being an idle and disorderly person. It is alleged that Hill thrashed Solomon two months ago. Mrs. Hill, who is the other arrested party, has been reticent since her first statement of waking up in bed, hearing her husband groaning, and wounded, with an axe lying across his body.
