CAUSE OF ACCIDENTS LETTER TO POWER BOARD Hazardous electrical equipment in motor garages and hotels was the subject of a communication from the Public Works Department received by the Waitemata Power Board this morning. Portable garage lamps had been the cause of three fatal accidents within recent months, said the letter, and it behoved power boards to make a thorough inspection of all garage equipment in their areas. The engineer-secretary. Mr. F. J. H. Wilson, said that only the Devonpoi t area was affected, and that the danger was fully realised and would receive attention.
