LAST EVENING’S GAMES WIN FOR AUCKLAND ASSN. A match was played last night between the Auckland Table Tennis Association and the Maungakiekie Golf Club, resulting in a win for the association by 11 matches to 5. Results: R. K. Wylie lost to Morpeth, 14—21, 15—21; Tyer beat Torrens, 21—19, 21—9; Fogarty lost to Morpeth, 20—22, 15—21; D. S. Wylie beat Robson, 17—21, 21—14, 21 —19; Tver lost to Morpeth, 16—21, 21—23; D. S. Wylie lost to Morpeth, 12 — 21, 12—21; R. K. Wylie beat Moir, 22—20, 21—14; Fogarty beat Torrens, 21—7, 21—13; Fogarty beat Moir, 21—13, 21—9; Tyer beat Robson, 21—17, 21—17; D. S. Wylie beat Moir, 21—11, 22—20; Fogarty beat Robson. 21—10, 21—IS; R. K. Wylie lost to Robson, 11—21, 22—20, 17—21; D. S. Wylie beat Torrens, 21—5, * 21—6. A knock-out competition was also held, the semi-finals and finals resulting as follow:—Semi-finals: Robson beat Tyer, 31—28; D. S. Wylie beat Fogarty, 31—22. Final: Robson beat D. S. Wylie, 31—23.
