ANNUAL MEETING HELD

The Mount Hobson Croquet Club held its annual meeting, Mrs. Buchanan, the retiring- president, presiding. Mrs. Buchanan presentee! prizes for the past season as follows: Championship, Mrs. Harkett; runner-up, Mrs. W. Arey: singles handicap, Mrs. Guthrie: handicap doubles, Mesdames Lambourne and Farquhar; junior championship, Mrs. F. Wilson; runner-up, Mrs. R. Abbott; handicap singles, Mrs. Wilson. The following officers were elected: President, MrS. J. C. Badeley; vicepresidents, Mesdames Harbutt, Worthington; joint hon. secretaries, Mesdames Arey, Abbott; hon. treasurer, Mrs. Worthington.

SOUTH SUBURBAN TOURNEY

Following is the draw for the South Suburban Croquet Association’s tournament, which will commence at Papakura on Monday at ten o’clock: — A GRADE Section A.—Mesdames Jarvie and Elliott v. Mesdames Stevens and McCullough; Mesdames .Little and Andrews v. Mesdames R.- Graham and H. Munro; Mesdames Hope and Bates v. Mesdames Bullock and King. Section B.—Mesdames Coxhead and Gallagher v.
