STOLEN TOOLS
•SYSTEMATIC THEFTS MAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL Systematic theft of carpenters’ tools was alleged against William Henry Higgins, aged 49, who appeared at the Police Court to-day. There were 10 charges against him ‘of stealing tools valued at £SB. Evidence was given by carpenters who said they had lost marked tools while on certain jobs. A dealer said that ho had bought some of the missing property from accused. Higgins denied guilt, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
