EXTRA SLEEPER MAY BE IN USE NEXT WEEK

Negotiations are proceeding between the Auckland and Wellington railway offices regarding the extra de luxe sleeper which is to be put on the Limited. It is thought that the extra sleeper will be running early next week, though no definite date has yet been fixed. During the past week railway business has been particularly brisk, and there have been long waiting lists each night for sleepers on both the Limited and the second express. Incoming trains have also been well filled, much more so than at this time last year.
