; FIFTY MEMBERS JOIN C. : e Press Association. WHANGAREI, To-day. d At an enthusiastic public meeting d last evening it was decided to form an airplane club in Whangarei. Thirty-five members expressed their e willingness to qualify as private pilots. The total membership of the club is " 50, and more are likely to join. T This morning a telegram was sent to the Minister of Defence asking for “ his assistance as provided under the ® regulations. Mr. M. D. Laurenson volunteered to act as honorary instructor, and Mr. W. Going as hont orary mechanic. {
