MORRINSVILLE INTERESTS
Members of the Morrinsville branch of the Reform League w r ere addressed by Mr. D. Hebenton, Reform Party organiser, at a meeting yesterday. Mr. J. Allen was elected president of the branch. Mr. Hebenton urged the Morrinsville supporters to link up with the branch.
It was decided to request the Prime Minister or the Hon. A. D. McLeod to address a public meeting at Morrinsville before Parliament opens, and that Mr. Stewart Reid and Mr. H. Hockly, M.P., be asked to attend. A large and modern hall is to be erected at the corner of Park and Thames Streets by Mr. T. Martin. Heavy rain fell in Morrinsville on Monday, 2.3 in being recorded in 24 hours.
