HOWICK LOAN POLL
BOARD’S NEW OFFICES A poll of Howick ratepayers will bo. held to-day to obtain authority to raise £1,250 by a loan sanctioned by the Local Government Loans Board, in accordance with the proposal to erect new offices for the Howick Town Board. The loan is to be repayable within six years and the rate of interest is not to exceed six per cent. The poll commenced this morning at 3 o'clock and will close at 6 p.m.
