WHITEHOUSE—RICHARDS

Dawn pink crepe de chine frilled with pretty silver lace was used with charming effect to make the bridal gown worn by Rosa, the second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jchn Richards, when she was married yesterday afternoon to Raymond Wilfred, the second son of Mr. Whitehouse, of Auckland. The ceremony was performed in the Pitt Street Methodist Church by the Rev. Leonard Dalby and the bride was given away by her brother, Mr. D. Richards. A veil of gossamer-pink tulle, delicately embroidered with silken flowers, fell over the bride’s frock and was caught with a triple wreath of orange blossoms. Pink roses and dahlias were carried by the bride. Miss Gladys Mullens as bridesmaid wore a dainty frock of wistaria mauve taffetas, made with a slender bodice and a bouffant skirt. She had a bandeau of mauve tulle and carried a pretty armlet of flowers to tone. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. V. Shaw as best man.
