BRIGHT—SHORT
The Rev. H. A. Coleman officiated at the marriage in St. Aidan’s Church, Remuera, last evening, of Jean Bostic, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. J. Short, of Lochiel Road, Remuera, to Harold Edward Bright, the only son of Mrs. P. A. Docherty, of Burwood Crescent, Remuera. Pale wistaria crepe de chine was worn by the bride, who was given away by her father. The frock had an effectively tiered skirt of accordion pleating, and was finished with petalled edges. A veil of blush-pink embroidered tulle was worn and the .»H.de carried an armlet of white cactus dahlias. The Misses Cecily Canavqn and Eileen Hunter were bridesmaids, wearing frocks of geranium-pink and cornflower blue crepe de chine respectively. Each frock was made on similar lines with a fitting bodice and a gracefully full skirt. Tulle and silver leaves were worn as headdresses and the bridesmaids carried bouquets of rose and blue flowers. Mr. Alan Short, brother of the bride, was best man and the groomsman was Mr. Kenneth Robertson.
