CHRISTIAN CONVENTION

CAMP AT NGARUAWAHiA Ngaruawahia where the eighth annual Christian Convention is being held. Most of the campers are' from Auckland, although representatives from as far north as Okaihau and from the South Island are present. By courtesy of the Ngaruawahia School Committee the women are accommodated in the school, the town hall also being placed at their disposal by the borough council for meetings and catering. The speakers include the Rev. L. Sale-Harrison, of Sydney, Mr. Mait-land-Kirkan, of London, secretary of the British Syrian Mission, and Dr. W. H. Pettit, of Auckland. On Saturday the campers enjoyed an excui'sion up the Waikato River, and to-day, visitors’ day, a large number of visitors are expected from Xgaruawahia and surrounding disti'icts.
