UNLUCKY MOTORIST ARRESTED FOR INTOXICATION

A constable, seeing a motor-car without lights on Saturday evening in Great North Road, made investigations which resulted in the appearance of John Alexander Fox, aged 29, at the Policy Court to-day. Fox pleadcC guilty to a charge of being intoxica%ed while, in control of a motor-car. Sub-Inspector McCarthy said that accused had driven the car without lights, and when a constable made investigations, he found that accused was intoxicated. Mr. J. J. Sullivan, who appeared for accused, pleaded for a light penalty. Fox was fined £7.
