MOTORIST KILLED

CAR RUNS OVER BANK Press Association. PALMERSTON N., Sunday. A motor fatality occurred about three miles from Palmerston North, on the Oakautere Road, yesterday afternoon, when a well-known resident, Mr. A. C. Butzbaeh, was killed through his car running backwards over a steep bank. The car, which was driven by Mrs. Butzbaeh, stalled on a hill, and the occupants got out to look at the engine. Mr. Butzbaeh re-entered the car, when It began to slip backwards down the hill and ran over a steep bank. Death was instantaneous. Mr. Butzbaeh was 46 years of age.
