A FIRST-CLASS HOSTEL

IMPROVED ACCOMMODATION (From Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Improvements are to be made in the accommodation for visitors to Milford Sound. A contract has been let for the construction at Milford Sound of a firstclass hostel to provide for 60 guests. The Minister in Charge of Tourist Resorts explained that the site is near the old cottage of Mr. Sutherland. and provision has been made for further extensions of the hostel when desired. There is ample power for electric light. Mr. Nosworthy added that he had just been informed that the work of erecting a wireless telephone connection between Te Anau and Glade House would be completed in a few days.
