Amery, Secretary of State for the Dominions, at a dinner given by the British and Overseas Banks Association, indicated a development of the exports credit scheme, under wrich the Department, instead of making a contract with the exporter, made it direct to the exporters and the banker, who would thus become an effective and good security in regard to the undertakings of his selected clients. —A. and N.Z.
