FONT AT TUAKAU CHURCH As a tribute to the memory of the late Dr. Robert Telford Corbett and Mrs. Corbett, of Tuakau, a baptismal font has been presented to the Tuakau Church by a daughter, Mrs. CorbettScott, of Epsom. Dedicating the font. Archdeacon Simkin said that Dr. and Mrs. Corbett were among the earliest settlers of the district, having taken up land there in 1868. During the seven years of his life at Tuakau the doctor had lived in the precepts of Christianity.
