MASONIC INSTALLATION

ACTIVITIES OF LODGE NO 284

The installation of the worshipful master of the Combined Forces Masonic Lodge, No. 284, was held in the Freemasons’ Hall, Belgium Street, last evening. A large number of the lodges in the Auckland district were represented. Bro. J. Armstead was installed a. master by Bro. Oliver Nicholson. P.G.M., Provincial Grand Master, and the Grand Master for New Zealand. General Sir Charles Fergusson was in attendance. Other officers invested were: 1.P.M.. Bro. M. Mllliken; D.M.. Bro. W. C. Finnis; S.W., Bro. A. YV. Brockie; J.W., Bro. S. R. Mason: treasurer, Bro. D. G. G. Hunter; secretary, Bro. V. Dunne; D. of C, Bro. A. W. Baldwin; S.D., Bro. P. M. Hobson; J.D., Bro. E. T. Hawkes: organist, Bro. G. H. Woolley: 1.0., Bro. C. J. Moore; senior steward, Bro. J. MacGregor; junior steward, Bro. G. R. Hutchinson, Jun.; tyler, Bro. W. J. Boag.
