TENNIS CLUB FAREWELL

GATHERING AT TE KAWA Mr. and Mrs. Roy Grant were farewelled by their many friends at a rennis afternoon arranged by the members of the Te Kawa Tennis Club. There was a good attendance. In a short speech Mr. C. Mexted (club captain) wished Mr. and Mrs. Grant and family success in their new sphere, and asked Mr. Grant’s acceptance of a cheque as a token of goodwill and esteem from his numerous friends. Mr. Grant appropriately replied. Afternoon tea was served and play resumed till evening. Mr. and Mrs. Grant and family are removing to Wanganui.
