WEEK-END PICNICS

ROTORUA AND HENDERSON WAIKATO RACE SPECIALS The Railway Department continues to handle large numbers of picnics every week-end, and on Saturday next the outgoing trains from Auckland will convey crowds from several of the city institutions to Henderson and other resorts for the annual outings. Two race specials will be run to Hamilton for the Waikato trots. On Saturday the Avondale Methodist Sunday School will take 130 to Henderson, Richmond Road Presbyterian Sunday School 150, St. Luke’s Anglican 180, and Onehunga Presbyterian Sunday School 322, to the same destination. Mamuku school takes 230 to Rotorua, St. James Sunday School, Pukekohi, brings 200 to Auckland, and Helensville Presbyterian Sunday School has 80 for Kaukapakapa.
