BOY'S SKULL FRACTURED A ten-year-old boy. William Rose, was killed as the result of a fall from a lorry on the concrete surface of the Great North Road. He was the son of Mr. G. Rose, land agent, of 140 Great North Road. Avondale. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital suffering from severe head injuries, and died early yesterday morning. FATALITY AT PARAU While swimming in a pool at Parau. near Titirangi, a bullcok team driver. Melvin Loveridge, got into difficulties and was drowned before assistance could be given. Artificial respiration was attempted 'out withcut avail.
