Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has received a cable from its London house dated February 22: “We quote C.R.S. and E. values for tallow: Farm mutton, 39s 6d cwt: good beef, 3Ss Sd cwt; mixed, 37s 3d cwt.. The market is quiet. New Zealand hemp, first grade, £33: second grade, £3l. The market is dull and there is nothing doing.
