BANKRUPT FARMER

At a meeting of the creditors of Edward Francis Murphy, farmer, of Taupiri, at the office of the official assignee, at Hamilton, yesterday, bankrupt complained tbiit he had leased his farm, which had been allowed to depreciate by the lessee. He also said that he had been hampered by his wife’s illness, all his available money going to meet doctors’ bills. Bankrupt’s schedule showed a deficiency of £ 600.

The meeting was adjourned sine die, to allow' further investigation of bankrupt’s affairs.
