OTAUA DRAINAGE BOARD
PROPOSED WORKS The Otaua Drainage Board met last Thursday, the chairman, Mr. A. B. Ghezzi, presiding. The board decided to call tenders, returnable on February 27, for the following work; cutting and shovelling Holmes, Bailey’s, the Eastern Road drains, and the 10ft drain from Wright’s to the high land; also, the cutting of the sides and the dragging of the upper and lower Otaua drain, and the upper and lower Awaroa and Walters’ drains.
At the first meeting of the financial year expenditure upon various creeks and drains will be decided upon.
