McCONACHY AT HUNTLY (From Our Own Correspondent) HUNTLY, To-day. Mr. Clarke McConachy, billiard champion, met a local amateur, Mr. E. L. Harris, at Brook’s rooms last night and conceded him 600 in 1,000 and ran to the final total in the gam© while his opponent scored 781. The winner’s best breaks were 237, 120, 96 and 78. The loser’s best effort was a break of 29. R. Trevetta (given four blacks) defeated th© champion twice at snooker. McConachy plays E. Morrison at Pukekohe to-night and is booked for further games in Auckland to-mor-row, ~ .
