Movie Bombshell Expected in Australia; Film Commission’s Report
npiTF Federal Government ex- .-*■ pects to receive shortly the report of the Film Commission, whose recommendations it is anticipated, will "be of a far-reaching character. It is openly stated that the report is likely to be one of the most discussed documents ever drawn up by a Royal Commission in Australia (writes THE SUN'S Sydney Correspondent). The Minister for Trade and Customs, Mr. Pratten, announced one or two important changes in connection with the film censorship department. Col. Hurley, who is ordinarily attached to the Migration and Development Commission, has been appointed to assist temporarily the Sydney Censor, Mr. Creswell O'Reilly, owing to pressure of work. Professor Osborne, of Melbourne University, has been temporarily appointed Chief Federal Censor, in succession to Professor Wallace, owing to the office which the latter is now filling at the Sydney University.
