WHANGAREI COURT

EYES ON RAILWAY OFFICES An influential Whangarei deputation which waited on the Minister of Justice to-night included Messrs. F. H. Levien, S.M., W. Jones, M.P., and A. Marshall, president of the Whangarei Chamber of Commerce. It requested him to consider removing the Magistrate’s Court from the present incommodious, old and unsuitable building to a new building erected by the Railway Department for railway offices, but never used, owing to railway reorganisation. The Minister admitted that the present place was inadequate, and promised favourable consideration without delay.
