SPOTLIGHT BATHING

POINT CHEVALIER BEACH The way in which to keep cool on these hot nights is a problem that often besets Aucklanders. Lixieland supplies the answer. To-night, to-morrow night, and on Monday night, there "will be spotlight bathing at Point Chevalier Beach. A swim in the afternoon is always welcome, but one soon becomes heated after leaving the water, and when darkness falls the wish is that another swim could be indulged in. The chance has now been provided, and what better way could be found than in bathing at night in the cool sea at Point Chevalier? All the necessary swimming gear can be obtained at Lixieland bathingsheds, so bathers have no need to go to the trouble of carrying “togs” to the beach.
