LUNA PARK
A GAY RENDEZVOUS “Auckland’s Gay Rendezvous” aptly describes Luna Park since its reopening for the 1927-28 summer season. Many exciting and amusing innovations have been added for the entertainment and thrill of patrons. The palais de danse, with an excellent orchestra, is a popular attraction. Among the new features are scenic river caves and a voyage underground through famous scenes of many countries, which have made a wide appeal since their opening. There is also free vaudeville on a specially constructed stage, and a promenade terrace. The well-known fun producers such as the scenic railway, the caterpillar, the whip and the dodgems are still as popular as ever. Special concession tickets are now available and cover all the attractions.
