MISS COPPLESTONE FIRST WEBSTER GETS FASTEST TIME (Special to THE SUN.J * DUNEDIN, Thursday. For the Annette Kellerman' Cup race, held in connection with the New Zealand swimming championships, over a three-mile course in the Otago Harbour to-day conditions were ideal. The sun was behind the swimmers and there -was a fair wind and little jobble. Over the latter part of the course the tide was against them. All started, and Miss L. Copplestone, Canterbury, the only woman competitor, who started off the limit mark, never left the race in doubt, winning by over 12 minutes from J. Enwright (Auckland), with another veteran in W. Morpeth (Wellington) third, and R. J. Webster (Auckland) fourth. The latter got fastest time by 13sec. The placings are: Miss L. Copplestone (29m), 98m Ss .. 1 J. Enwright (ljm), 82m 28s 2 W. Morpeth (275 m), 111 m 8s 3 R. J. Webster, 82m 15s 4 There were 11 starters.
