HORROR OF BLINDNESS? POINT CHEVALIER TRAGEDY The horror of approaching blindness, added to depression caused by war service, may have been the cause which resulted in the Point Chevalier tragedy. Mi*. O. Lang, of .16 Picton Street. Ponsonby, who was practically the cniy friend Clos had in Auckland, told a reporter this morning that the man's memory of his war experiences haunt®}!, him.
