PAKURANGA SOCIAL CLUB

ENJOYABLE DANCE The popularity of the Pakuranga Social Club’s evenings, was well maintained on Saturday evening last, when another highly successful function was held. There was a record attendance of dancing enthusiasts, including visitors from all the surrounding districts, Otahuhu being specially well represented. The musical programme was provided by Miss Strong and Mr. Benns, and extras were supplied by Miss Jack and Mr. Nelson. During the evening a number of ‘'spot waltzes" were danced, the following capturing the trophies: Miss Cameron and Mr. Cameron, Mrs. G. Bell and Mr. Bell, Miss McCoy and Mr. Watkin, Miss O’Meagher and Mr. Loomb. A very dainty supper was served by the women members of the committee, and during the evening good business was done in ices.
