KAMO SPRING WATER

HEATING FACILITIES At a meeting of the Whangarei Hospital Board to-day, a telegram was received from Dr. T. H. A. Valintine, Inspector-General of Health, stating that he will arrive in Whangarei to-morrow, to inspect the condition of Kamo springs, the property of the board. Members of the board consider there is a great future for the springs as a spa, but the wide use of the water is handicapped by the lack of a heating plant to raise the temperature of the baths. Dr. Valintine's visit is associated particularly with the hoard’s proposal to install heating facilities.
