MOTOR SMASH

CAR STRIKES TELEGRAPH POLE While proceeding along the Panmure Road in the early hours of Sunday morning a three-seater motor-car, owned by Messrs. Hamilton Bros., of Papatoetoe, and driven by one of the brothers, collided with the standard holding the red light, marking the partly-completed overhead bridge on that road, and cannoned off on to a telegraph pole, crushing one front and one rear wheel. Excepting shock nonp of the six occupants was injured.
