The Canadian Government has named newly-discovered lakes in north-western Ontario after men and women lost on trans-oceanic and other flights last summer. The first named was Lake Doran, a large body of water In the Red Lake district after Miss Mildred Doran, who perished in the Dole Prire air race to Honolulu. Others were named after the Princess Loewensteia-Wertheim. Captain Teri v Tullv. Lieutenant Medcalf, LieutenantColonel Minchin. Captain Bertand and Major Hamilton and Philip Pavne (the American journalist) all of whom perished in Atlantic flights.—A. ar ’
