ROSES AND BALLOONS

FAREWELL DANCE FOR TOTEM-GIRLS A charming little dance was given last evening by the Misses R. and E. Page, at “Ryecroft,” Symonds Street, in farewell to a number of the cast of “Rose Marie,” who have been staying with them. Dancing to gramophone and orchestral music was enjoyed in the big dining-room, which was cleared and decorated with gay balloons, streamers and fragrant roses. During the evening amusing competitions were contested and won by a number of the guests, and delightful exhibition dances were given by some of the girls from the “Rose Marie” ballet. Miss R. Page received the guests and wore an attractive frock of cyclamen georgette beaded with crystal. Miss E. Page, who assisted her, was in a frock of hyacinth georgette inset with silver lace. Among those present were: Miss Ronnie Anderson, who wore a frock of parchment crepe de chine. Miss Sybil Allerding, in a patterned frock of mauve crepe de chine.
