MARKET UNCHANGED Cabling under date January 7, the London office of the Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., advise as follows:
Butter.—Anchor, 1645; first grade, 160 s to 1625; nominal; unsalted, 168 s; market unchanged. Danish, 182 s on the spot; 173 s f.o.b. Deliveries of New Zealand this week: 2.093 tons; in store 2,044 tons. Stocks of all butters in public stores on January 1 were 6,500 tons. Retail prices are: New Zealand Is 7d, Danish Is lOd. Cheese.—White and coloured. 93s to 945: market unchanged. Stocks in the public stores on January 1 were: Canadian 111,500 boxes. New Zealand 54,300 crates. The total is approximately the same as during the corresponding period of 1927. Canadian, 100 s. Retail, Is a lb L’nder date Januarj 6 W. Weddel and Company, Ltd., London, cabled their New Zealand agents, A. H.
