Round the Churches
A New Tear's message will be delivered at the morning service at St. Matthew’s Church, and in the evening Archdeacon O. Fauckland will be the preacher.
Mr. J. Watson will be the preacher at both services at the Edendale Presbyterian Church, and at the Somervell Church the preacher will be the Rev. J. Pattison.
Divine services will be held in the morning and evening at the Methodist Centra! Mission, and also at France Street in the evening.
The Associated Churches of Christ will hold services as usual at Ponsonby Road. Dominion Road. Richmond, Onehunga, Avondale, Devonport and Mount Albert.
Services as usual will be conducted at the First Church of Christian Scientists, Symonds Street.
The Rev. A. S. Wilson will be the preacher at the morning and evening services at the Grange Road Baptist Church.
The Sunday afternoon meeting of the Young Men’s Christian Association will be addressed by Mr. J. Findlay. Mr. B. M. Wilson is to preach at the Royal Oak Baptist Church to-morrow. In the morning he will deliver a New Year’s message.
There will be no circle at the Spiritual Scientists’ Church. Newton Chambers, to-morrow afternoon. At 7 p.m. Airs. Harris Roberts will deliver an inspirational address.
Nurse Clayton will speak at the evening service of the Church of True Spiritual Light in the 1.0.0. F. Hall. Pitt Street.
The Feast of the Circumcision will be celebrated at SL Patricks Cathedral to - nwrre^w.'
