TARANAKI GOLD
RECORD PAY-OUTS CHEER FOR FARMERS Press Association. HAWERA, Wednesday. Owing, mainly, to the final bonus on last season’s butter-fat, the monthly pay-out yesterday constituted a record in the history of several South Taranaki dairy companies. The two largest were Joll’s and Hawera, which distributed £47,000 and £43,000 respectively over a district between Patea and Opunake. The payment totalled £290,000.
