HEADMASTER FAREWELLED A very enjoyable social evening was .held in the Pakuranga Public Hall on Tuesday, when nearly 200 residents from Pakuranga and the surrounding districts met, to bid farewell to Mr. F. Jameson, the retiring schoolmaster. The first part of the function was taken up with a concert programme. At the -conclusion of the concert, Mr. Burns, chairman of the Board of Education, presented Mr. Jameson with a handsome chiming clock, as a token of the high esteem in which the recipient was held throughout the district.
