PAPATOETOE ACTIVITIES
BUILDING PROGRESS The Auckland Gas Company is understood to be negotiating for a block of land in the centre of the brick area of Papatoetoe for the erection of up-to-date show rooms and offices. Arrangements are well advanced for the building of an up-to-date theatre in Station Road East, in close proximity to the town hall, which at present does duty for all public entertainments. The new building will be up to the mark in all the latest appointments and will be a decided acquisition to the town.
