TRAPPED SPEEDSTERS
QUESTION THE LAW Many motorists were before the Paeroa Court on Monday charged with
speeding:. The offences were committed on Labour Lay, the majority on Thames Road, where a trap had been set. Mr. Carder, acting for defendants, asked that if a fine were inflicted it be made heavy enough to allow of an appeal. One offender was therefore fined .£3. and costs «C 3 3s, and decision reserved in the other cases.
