TE AWAMUTU BOWLERS CALLED ON TO DEFEND SHIELD AND CUP TROPHIES
A Frankton club team will play the Te Awamutu Club in a challenge match next Saturday for the SmithClark Shield. The holders (Te Awamutu) will be skipped by R. Metcalfe, and the challengers (Frankton) by L. Jackson. On Saturday next Te Awamutu will also be called upon to withstand a challenge for the King Country Cup, two rinks from Otorohanga being the challengers.
